I just finished reading a great book by Dr. Ollison on the blood of Jesus. I have gone to church all my life but I can't remember getting any depth of teaching about the blood of Jesus. My goodness, did this book open my eyes.
There is a chapter that talks about how Jesus put his blood on the Mercy Seat in heaven just after He resurrected. Then there is a section on the seven ways the blood of Jesus was shed and a chart that compares the sacrificial lamb to Jesus.
This book also has a 100 page study guide that can be purchased extra, but I don't have that yet. I guess if you were going to teach it in a class or something that would be of value.
Anyway, this was a great book. Surprisingly, it was easy to read even though the subject matter was quite deep.
If anyone knows of another book on the blood of Jesus, I would be interested.
