What does it mean to live a Christian life?
There are so many ways and things to do and say that lead to living a Christian life.

Romans 12:2;
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Wow! What a verse. How often do we consider all this and apply it to our lives?
We could take this verse alone and work on it the rest of our lives.
I know some of you do.
I can see it in the way you respond and present yourselves here on the forum.
And that is an encouragement for me to do the same.

James 1:19-20;
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

I know that when we get caught up in debates, it can be frustrating when others do not agree with us. But the verse above tells us we should always be aware of what we say so as to produce the righteousness of God from within us.

Ephesians 4:32;
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

There is too much anger and bad-mouthing one another inside the body of Christ.
May we all take these verses to heart and learn through the power of Jesus Christ within us, to apply them to our lives everyday.

Also, doing that produces righteousness in those you're debating with.

I noticed that Jesus never got his undies in a bunch in debates when talking about the truths of the kingdom. He just said what he had to say knowing the truth would find a place to grow in the soil that it would. I've learned a lot from that. Putting people on the defensive/offensive seems to harden them to the truth, not make them open to it. I figured why would I want to harden the very soil I want to see the truth take root and sprout in? A big lesson for me about that was just before I got saved someone I worked with wouldn't argue with me about something and basically just calmly said, "that's the way it is" and walked away and wouldn't engage me on the point. He scored more points by doing that than if he had argued his point to exhaustion.

John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

John 15:8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
