I haven't been on this site in a long time, but I thought I'd stop by and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Have fun and enjoy and may the joy you experience during the holidays stay with you for the rest of the year!

It's almost over...

There are a few remaining gifts to give, candles to light, and meals to eat.

I usually end up being Charlie Brown but I'd rather be Snoopy. lol I'm off to Church now. I'm playing again but this time don't have to be there until 9am. Usually it's 7am. Most of the same songs as last night as we'll have a lot of new folks this morning. So we should be ready. playing together for 25 years - that's great! Music is really such a gift from God. It's gotten me through tough times many times. I call music my antideath. Anyway, hope you have a great service today and always.

Good news everyone. Its only 363 days until Christmas.

This is my last Christmas break as a full time employee. I'll miss teaching but not the hard part. The doing is fun. The prep is the killer. I teach art and I often spend hours in my classroom just cleaning up, reorganizing, and trying to get stuff ready for 600 kids. I was just up yesterday and it will take me hours to get ready for the next thing. But when all is ready, the doing is a blast. The kids have so much fun and I love watching their faces. I run art stations so kids have choices on what type of art they want to engage in. Lots of messy choices.
