Now there are tons of tests on the internet out there...take your pick.

Which of the 12 do you fall under?

Now last night on Facebook a guy remarked about a coffee cup he liked...that he was going to make one.
Soooo
I replied back to him if he was going to throw some clay and fire it or was he going to just go to the pottery painting store.

He replied that he actually has dug and refined his own clay then threw it and fired it and then glazed it...but this time he was probably just going to the pottery painting studio...

The sick part of this conversation is that he is telling the truth about my personality type and only one of us would believe him because it sounds like such a great project.... And doable. LOL.

Soooo

What four letters are yours?
And if you have trouble have your spouse do one for you. See how it differs.

I saw a great gif about this the other day. It was a little something like this:

How we read horoscopes, personality tests etc:
Your are a ----- ----- ----- intelligent ------ ----- friendly ------
------------ ------ ---------- ---------------kind --------------
----- ------ ------- ------- person ------ ------- -------

etc.... :)

INFP.

Not a perfect test and I guess it's probably kind of outdated by now, but I am pretty interested in the theory behind it actually. INFP is run on Fi (introverted feeling), Ne (extraverted intutition), Si (introverted sensing), and Te (extraverted thinking), in that order.

Just in case someone was curious.

I'm an ENFP...
meaning I can accomplish almost anything when I am supposed to be doing something else.
(I have a lot of hobbies)

There's a convenient site to find your type here:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

I'm sure everyone will be surprised by mine...

INTP

Introvert(50%) iNtuitive(78%) Thinking(66%) Perceiving(38%)

  • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (50%)
  • You have strong preference of Intuition over Sensing (78%)
  • You have distinct preference of Thinking over Feeling (66%)
  • You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (38%)
Mrs. Barbarian is an ISFJ, and opposites apparently really do attract. Not without some sparks along with the fireworks, of course.

INFP
Introvert(3%) iNtuitive(22%) Feeling(41%) Perceiving(9%)
  • You have marginal or no preference of Introversion over Extraversion (3%)
  • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (22%)
  • You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (41%)
  • You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (9%)
Thanks Barbarian for the link.

INFJ
Introvert(69%) iNtuitive(19%) Feeling(6%) Judging(16%)
  • You have distinct preference of Introversion over Extraversion (69%)
  • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (19%)
  • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (6%)
  • You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (16%)
I did this when I was much younger and was INFP then.

Now when I go to the Facebook pages for each of these personality types it becomes really obvious to me...

Each of these personality types has its positives as well as negatives that needs to be overcome by the person with the type.

When I go to the Facebook page I see literally most of those with my type (and tons of those who like hanging around my type) all being tortured by their failings.

And where a lot of the pages tell you everything you wish to hear often they are very light on the stuff we need to hear such as areas that strict discipline by ourselves is needed.

As I have already admitted I have to focus and finish projects. I have a bad habit of leaving something unfinished or moving on to something else when I encounter a problem of some kind. Especially when what is needed is mundane, repetitive work. (Obviously I hate paperwork)

And i have no clue as to what to advise when it comes to finding a spouse...but so many of them are lonely and looking.
