Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT)
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

True: being in accordance with the actual state or conditions; conforming to reality or fact; not false:
Honorable: worthy of honor and high respect;estimable;creditable.
Right: in accordance with what is good, proper, or just:
Pure: clear; free from blemishes:
Lovely: charmingly o rexquisitely beautiful:
Admirable: inspiring approval, reverence, or affection.
Excellent: possessing outstanding quality or superior merit; remarkably good.
Worthy of Praise:the act of expressing approval or admiration; commendation; laudation

Now, personalize these 8 words. I'll go first.

1. I am a child of God.
2. He provides me with all I need.
3. Following him is life.
4. Only the pure in heart will see Him.
5. His creation is perfect. The flowers radiate his glory.
6. His way is the best way to go.
7. I must pursue Him and obey him the best I can. When I mess up He is there to pick me back up and set me on my feet.
8. The hymn Holy Holy Holy brings joy in worship to my heart.

Your turn!

I am experiencing what most men who have been active in the calling of Christ Jesus to serve Him as a Pastor or leader in the Churches of Jesus. Once retired from the full time service, as the years pass by, an empty feeling comes about. The pressing need is to experience once again, the excitement of seeing the Holy Spirit change lives before my eyes. I miss those days of watching Jesus embrace lost sinners, and welcome them into His family thru the evidence and power of His Spirit.

I have found a needed remedy for these retirement years. My thirst is still there to witness to the lost, to teach the Word of God to the thirsty, to counsel those in spiritual trouble, but most of all, is to see Jesus....John 12:21 "The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.".... These were several Greek men who had heard about Jesus, and wanted to meet Him.

This is now my thirst, I want to see Jesus! Just like Moses....Exodus 33:18 "And he (Moses) said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory." Where do I see Jesus & Jehovah? In the Word of God, that's where! Presently, I'm studying the Gospels of Matthew & John. Within those pages of Scripture, because of my thirst of "seeing Jesus", I'm receiving a fresh look, by the Holy Spirit, into just Who Jesus is.

I had discovered that because my heart was getting stale of the things of God, my studies in the book of Revelation, caused me to identify with the Church at Laodicea....Revelation 3:15 "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot."

Now, my heart is driven to behold God's Glory, and to see Jesus. The best place to find them both, is God's Word, and prayer. The Holy Spirit has picked up my personal challenge, and is blessing my heart with knowledge, and opening the eyes of my heart to what Angel wrote about....

I have only started my quest to experience God's Grace, Mercy, and love. My heart is already beginning to heat up for Christ Jesus. Only God knows how this will end. Praise His Holy, Holy Name.
