The whole chapter of Zeph 3 deals with the rejection of Jesus and the rejection of the world and judgement.
Zep 3:5 The just LORD [is] in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
Zep 3:6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
The destruction of all the buildings in the whole earth is described.
Not one building left standing after the great earthquake when Jesus touches His foot on the mount of Olives
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great. .
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.
Terrible destruction over the whole earth when the big quake hits.
Zep 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
The heavenly Father is so disgusted that the Kings of the earth have come to Jerusalem to kill Jesus( the jew)He rains down fire and bimstone, Fireballs, earthquakes, whirlwinds, tempests, etc ..
Let the reader take note ALL THE EARTH SHALL BE DEVOURED WITH FIRE SCARY.. >br.
Zep 3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
If you were trying to descibe how fire would instanly destroy a body this is not the language you would use. Mere fire takes awhile to consume your body, yet in this description you dont have time to even fall over before your consumed. WOW SCARY
The terror that seizes the soldiers is so horrific they kill each other, Madness ensues a rampage of death. Why because a tumult from the Lord is among them.
THIS TIME JESUS COMES BACK NOT AS THE LAMB FOR SLAUGHTER.
THIS TIME JESUS COMES BACK AS KING OF KINGS LORD OF LORDS, LEADING THE GREAT ANGELIC ARMY TO CRUSH ALL OPPOSITION, TO MAKE EVERY KNEE BOW, TO OCCUPY THE THRONE OF DAVID IN JERUSALEM AS KING
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Eze 39:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog.
SO MANY DEAD IT TAKES 7 MONS TO BURY THEM,
Joe 3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
BECAUSE OF THE MISTAKEN IDENTITY OF JESUS THEY ATTACK AND TRY TO KILL HIM AGAIN
