After seeing popular actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez dressing up as Jesus, i had mix opinions.
I myself think it is distasteful and sadening to see my Lord and savior painted in such a way however many comments on Nicholas's instagram seem to disagree.
I am on level ground on this, i will not support such a thing but i shall not act upon this.
What is everyone else's opinions? Lets have a chat

I have not seen the dress up you reference. BUT - I do know Halloween is a pagan fest that does insult christianity. It celebrates witchcraft and satanism, and is considered a holy day in those religions.

So my family and I have nothing to do with it.
And the rest of the world - they are going to do what they want. For many that includes mocking God.

If you watch his instantgram site, you could challenge him and his followers as to why they only use figures from Christianity, like Jesus, but won't use figures from other religions like Mohammed etc

Explain how someone can dress up like Jesus. Nobody knows what He looked like so...

Aside from that, why do you take offense? I think God has rather large shoulders and He does not need us to be His defenders. Do you think it bothered Jesus when He was mocked? I don't. What did He do in response? "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do." Luke 23:34 NKJV
