There are an estimated 200 billion galaxies in our universe, and this new study surveyed 263 of them to determine the direction that the galaxies rotate.

Turns out, every galaxy turns both clockwise and counter-clockwise, depending on which side you are looking at. The Earth turns counter-clockwise, viewed from the North Pole, and clockwise, viewed from the South Pole.

There is no "top" or "bottom" for galaxies. C'mon.
