Grooming seem like a sin, trying to be attractive etc
Wanting to buy stuff that aren't absolutely necessary s food seem like a sin for you are seeking material things, prideful and idolatry like
Even food, not necessarily overeating but somewhat more than necessary
Watching horror or action movies, going out even if not doing anything wrong unless it's a trip to the church or a family trip
Listening to music that isn't religious
Technology
Even celebrations and some Christian costumes
I'm starting to think I have to build a cabin, grow my own crops and read the Bible 24/7 in order to live my life accordingly
I think I'm falling into some soft of a spectrum so would appreciate input

Sounds like a plan that could work .
Don't operate a saw and read the Bible at the same time , just saying .

Sounds to me like your focus is on sin more than on the One that redeems you. Lay your sins at the foot of the cross. Put your trust in Jesus and not on yourself or your (in)ability to achieve perfection. Yes, we strive to live sinless lives but not to achieve salvation. Rather, we do it because of the salvation we have received in the Christ, Jesus.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV

I see you
Though I try and focus on life with no sin, or rather avoid it, avoid things that I am capable of you know

I just live with hope I am saved by Gods grace and mercy through Christ. I don't let sin rule my life and live with a heavy burden as my works wont get me a free pass into the Kingdom of God.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but that sounds more like legalism, usually found in independent, fundamentalist churches. There are things the Bible makes very clear that Christians are not to do, but there is freedom in Christ, although it isn't "everything goes"; it takes wisdom. The motive behind doing something is usually central in deciding what to do or not to do or how far to take something.

I tend to be extreme in everything
I'm a new believer (grew up in a country majorly orthodox Christian but recently truly decided I want to learn about faith)
I kinda try or at least intend to try and live a life just as God planned or closest to it but it seems like most things today don't align with it
I guess the most important thing is being the best person you can be

I remember a time when I was being taught that I had not only do the right things, but do them with the right attitudes and right motives. Even at that time, I found such thinking beyond me, because I had a good idea of how bad my motives often were, and if I waited for my motives and attitudes to get better, I'd end up doing nothing.

The Bible tells us that "All our works of righteousness are like filthy rags". That is a very negative statement, because it's saying that all the things I want to hold up to God as good works that I can brag about are actually very dirty in sin, but it's also freeing. If all my works, even my good works, are so bad, then I can stop trying to depend on them and believe in Christ.

I don't think that trying to look nice is bad, but like lots of things, it can lead us into evil; vanity, for example, where we think ourselves better than others because we look better, or envy of others who we think are better. But not caring about appearance can lead to other issues.

Horror movies are not my favorite kinds, but I've seen some that are good. For my part, I try to watch out for content, but that's with anything I watch.

Concerning music, I'd probably say that a lot of stuff that's called Christian music isn't Christian at all. That could be for a lot of Christian media. I like techno music--HUVA Network, Solar Fields, Aes Dana, Kiasmos, a few others, although for a while the main thing I've been listening to is the soundtrack to Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. I had a couple of albums of Sovereign Grace conferences, recordings of conference attendees singing hymns, but then I found out how bad Sovereign Grace is, and I really have no desire to listen to those albums any more.

There are hard-and-fast things that we know are sinful and we are to avoid, such as murder and adultery. Other things are matters of personal conscience, such a foods and most movies and types of music. Respect your own conscience and your own misgivings, and respects other people who may see such debatable things differently.

This is a great statement actually

Some Christians think everything is a sin like they place the heavy burden of the law given to Hebrews by Moses on themselves by trying to please God with good works.

It is written..."Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." (Titus 1:15)
Are you not pure ?

The most important thing is placing your trust and faith in the Christ, Jesus. Have you ever read the Gospels, particularly John's Gospel? I mean really sat down and read it slowly, studied it, meditated upon the message, prayed about it and really opened your mind and your heart to the teaching therein?

Does God in His word, the Bible, forbid personal grooming or acting to make oneself attractive to the opposite sex? No. He does condemn self-centered egotism and pride, but one can be well-groomed and attractive to women without being a narcissist. In fact, if you want to be sure not to be of interest to women, go about like an unmade bed all the time, smelly and poorly-dressed.

The apostle Paul wrote that "God has given us richly all things to enjoy" (1 Timothy 6:17). So, enjoy them! But Paul also wrote that he would not be brought under the power of anything except God (1 Corinthians 6:12). So, don't overdo it, becoming enslaved to food, or drink, or gaming, or whatever. You can be sure not to become enslaved to such things when you're living in conscious submission to God throughout every day.

Well, no lover of Jesus Christ should ever be watching a horror movie, or action movies full of gratuitous violence, demons, and/or sexual stuff. These things are totally opposed to the life, love, peace and holiness of Christ.

Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

No one can be a friend of the World and its values, philosophies and common entertainments and be a friend of God, too.

James 4:4
4 ...do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 John 2:15-16
15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

But the one who has truly found God and is enjoying Him deeply will want to forsake the evil things of the World, not grieve their loss. God is better, more fulfilling, than anything the World, our flesh, or the devil can offer to us. Do you believe it? If not, you will never discover that He is.

God doesn't forbid any of these things in His word. But He does tell us never to be under the power of any of these things, addicted to a cell-phone, or porn site, or loving our jazz music or rap more than praises of God, or happier about our beautiful Christmas tree than about Christ's birth.

I'm starting to think I have to build a cabin, grow my own crops and read the Bible 24/7 in order to live my life accordingly

No, you just have to learn how to walk in the Spirit and be filled with him, with his life, and discover, as you are, that walking in him is far, far, far better than enjoying the dark and destructive things the World and the devil tell you that you should have.

Friend, you were made for life with God. It's why He created you. When you forsake God's purpose for your existence, and seek your own purposes, you become like a hammer used to butcher a cow, or a mop used to shingle a roof. You just aren't "fit for purpose" and make an almighty mess of your life.

The problem is, when you start to direct your life the way you want rather than the way God wants, it doesn't seem like doing so is a bad idea. In fact, at the start, it can feel quite wonderful! But God has promised us death - sooner or later, in way or another - when we seek our own way rather than His. Don't destroy yourself! The first sip of a glass of poison may be very tasty, but you'll be dead by the time you finish it.

Galatians 6:7-9
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Hi God's Soul

Well, that's not what Paul did. I don't see any of the first believers who are exampled for us in the new covenant Scriptures as living such a lifestyle. Sin comes from the heart. Just as Jesus said, "It is from the heart that our sin comes from."

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person.

Paul says that all things are permissible for him, but because he had a heart that was right with God, the things that he wanted were godly things.

There's nothing wrong with having a car. But if the car you buy is one that you feel proud walking out of the dealership and crowing to all your friends about how you got such a wonderful, elegant vehicle, then your heart probably isn't right concerning the matter. It's all about the heart, friend.

I can point to Galatians chapter 5. Walk in the Spirit. Walking in the flesh can't please God, cross reference, Romans chapter 8. Christian people sin, we're in the flesh, just repent. Habitual simners don't care about God and won't repent. There are two different classifications here. Romans chapter 6 talks about habitual simners. Discipline is the key. Habitual simners have no self control or discipline. Be Doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourself, James chapter 1.

It's less about rules, do's and don'ts, and more about grace when you Christ sits on the throne in your heart, He is your king and the Holy Spirit fills you, you will know what is right and what is wrong, what is edifying and what is destructive. Listen to the Spirit rather than to people's laws so much.

Focus not on your sins, do not even think about them. Instead, focus on Jesus, the redeemer and savior of your soul. Talk to Jesus about how you feel, cast your cares to Him.

To unbelievers everything is sin. Even doing their daily jobs.
Proverbs 21:4 A haughty look, a proud heart, And the plowing of the wicked are sin.

Titus 1:15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

For Christians:
1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

I doubt when we sit and watch Rambo First Blood that we are doing it for the glory of God. I just mentioned the first movie I thought of. We spend a lot of time in front of our phones, computers and TV sets while widows and nursing home patients sit alone all day in boredom.

James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
