Everyone please keep my family in prayer. I lost my daddy yesturday, he's went home with the Lord. My daddy and mommy laid down for a nap after lunch to watch alittle TV, daddy was watching Jerry Springer, mommy just got up to throw some laundry in the dryer, and came back to rest beside daddy. Mommy said he was quiet for a while and she reached out and touched his arm to ask him if he was ok, and he was gone.

He was 77, and lived a good life and was a good daddy to me for all my life. I'll miss him terribly, but I can't think of a better time to enter the Kingdom then on such a wonderful weekend. I'm thankful he was saved, I'm bless to be loved by such a wonderful daddy, I'm going to miss our talks and pranks on each other, or his morning trip for his paper and donuts the morning I leave for home so he wouldn't cry when I left.....but most of all I'll miss his smile.

I love you daddy, have a wonderful time in the Kingdom on Easter....amen

Will be keeping you and your loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. As wonderful as it is when a loved one goes to Heaven, it is hard not to miss them ourselves no? Cherish the better moements had with your father, such memories are truly worth treasuring.

May God Bless You

Danielle

Oh Carol, I am so sad for you and your family. I know you will miss him terribly and I will pray for you. I am excited for him too though, and I also can't think of a better time to go to heaven than taking a nap with my love on Easter weekend....how wonderful. Take heart and comfort in knowing you will see him again in the presence of our Lord!

Love you,

Thanks everyone for the prayers for my family. Mommy called and I was going to fly up to Detroit for 10 days, but mommy said no. She said you know your daddy didn't want no fuss, or a bunch of people sitting around him crying. Just wish him farewell with a smile, and know we'll see him soon, and place him in his resting place in the monseleum.

Mommy said the only thing he wanted was to be buried in the baby blue suit that he wore when he gave me away when I got married because it was such a wonderful day for him, and he loved the memories of that day. It was pretty awesome, his first country throw down wedding with the pig pickin, whole salmons, crab legs, bar-b-que ribs....a hangman's noose for the groom lol...daddy loved that one, and all our friends playing music with their guitars, pitching horseshoes, playing checkers, throwing darts, and we chose to spend our honeymoon home with the family, and daddy and mommy had a wonderful time with Bear's parents too. It was a great time!

But the supper table my daddy sits at now, the food is alot more awesome. But I'm honored that he wanted to be cloaked in the memories of my wedding day as he's laid to rest....that's my daddy.

Again, thanks Caroline and everyone for you Christ love prayers.....GBU

Carol you and your family have my prayers today. I praise God that you dad has the victory in Christ. The Lord bless you.

Carol~

I am personally blessed by your genuine and trusting witness of such a sad moment. How ELSE but by the Lord Jesus, are we ever able to face the future without one so loved? :shrug Your courage in this moment, and assurance of your daddy's place at Jesus' table in HIS presence affirms the loss of death's sting! :D Surely, all victory belongs to our Risen Savior! :clap

May Jesus be close enough for your little girls arms to cling to, may He hold you in His powerful embrace every time you miss your daddy's love. And may He cause you to be a comfort to all your family in this time. May the Holy Spirit fall on you all in comfort and strenthening love. For Jesus name's sake I pray... :shades

In our Risen Saviors victory... bonnie
