There is this guy who has been a family friend since my Dad met him in University, and he is an absolutely top bloke. I have to be honest and say I don't know if he's a Christian or not (I wouldn't be surprised if he was), but he could sure use a prayer right now because a few days ago, after experiencing chest pains and going to the doctor, he found out he had leukemia, and he has had it for 3 years so far without it being symptomatic. He has a wife and a 10 year old daughter. My mum was on the phone to his wife the other day after finding out, and she said that she doesn't sound good at all.

He started chemotherapy, but no one (on earth) knows his fate yet because its a bit to early to tell. We can only wait. My mum also went to see him today, and she said that it seemed as if he hasn't exactly given up hope, but he's leaning that way.

I'm not quite sure what to do, I've never been able to make or say a good prayer so I hope that someone here will be able to do one for me. If someone can, it is very appreciated.

Kenan.

It's not how impressionable, or how great a prayer sounds to others that counts. It's how heart felt, and sincere the prayer is that counts with God. Sometimes even one or two words spoken in sincerity, mean more than a thousand great swelling words of hypocrisy.

:praying Done :amen

Well, I found out today that he's in remission, which is a major relief. I guess that one prayer made a difference :D

Praise the Lord.
