As always, God is faithful to us and has provided that Steve work much, much closer to home. The good news on this is the usual; less money spent on gas, more time to spend as a family.
The bad news is that his current client's mother is a Satanist. Steve will only be in their home in a professional capacity and they are strictly forbidden by the contracts to discuss religion at all. But, nonetheless, as his wife, I'm more than a bit concerned about him having to deal with an avowed Satanist who has an altar to Satan in the living room.
Also, the client is 17 years old and is physically as large as Steve. He does have severe behavioral issues and has attacked other therapists in the past. It could very well be that the behavioral problems and his mother's religion are tied in with each other. Or not as the case may be. Steve has dealt with a number of serious behavioral problems, so far all his clients have responded quite well under his firm, consistant and patient therapy, and none of them have been demonic in nature. But, this might be a different story.
Again, he is forbidden to mention religion in any capacity whatsoever, and would not have known about the Satanism had it not been for the altar dedicated to Satan in the living room. However, there is no prohibition for him to pray for his clients (as long as he doesn't discuss his prayers with them) nor for us to pray for them as well.
My specific prayer for Steve with this situation is that God would graciously grant Steve any special insight he might need regarding any demonic activity and also keep him physically safe.
