New Apostles creed

Here's a new apostles creed I've created. As you'll see, it's completely backed up by the bible:

I believe …..



All Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3 v 16)

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent (Numbers 23 v19)



Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (2 Kings 2 v 11)

no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3 v 13)



Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli (Luke 3 v 23)

Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ (Matthew 1 v 16)



Thou shalt not kill (Exodus 20 v 13)

Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel commanded (Joshua 10 v 40)



God is love (1 John 4 v 8)

the LORD … hated Esau (Malachi 1 v 2-3)



There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love (1 John 4 v 18)

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9 v 10)



There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD (Ezekiel12 v 28)

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22 v 20)
