[ Testimony ] New guy needs help

So recently I came back to Christ, and have been having the best month of my life! I've been constantly praying and praising God for everything! My new love in Christian contemporary music has been strong, and I've been singing along and praising God for hours every day. God has opened my eyes and ears like never before, but last night I had the craziest thing I've ever experienced in my life. I got home from work, relaxed, and jumped on the computer to listen to some music and just really praise and talk to God. I started to REALLY get into the music. I was singing and crying my eyes out b/c I could feel God's love. I start telling God how much I appreciate everything he's done for me and how I would give anything to just give him the bigest hug in the world. Next thing I know it feels like I have a nuclear bomb of love go off in my gut! This feeling was so hard that the top half of my body just collapsed over in the chair I was sitting in. I've never cried so hard in my life after this happened, EVER! Not sad crying, but crying b/c I never knew I could feel such a strong feeling of love. It was absolutely overwealming!

LOL, I'm crying now just thinking about it. If anyone has experienced anything like this before please let me know. Thanks for reading, and God bless!!

Man that is a great story to share. I only listen to Christian Music. Petra is my favorite band. It has always been said that you pray through song as well. Fantastic.

If you can pray through song, I've been praying more the past month than my entire life combined I just never knew a feeling of love and secureness like this was possible. I'm just blown away daily by it. Crazy!

Edit: Hillsong "Rise" has to be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard!

I am a creature of habit. So Mighty to Save is the only song I have ever really heard. So upon your recommendation I listened to Rise. Gotta say, I dug the message.

You experienced the greatest love of all. There is love that is explained using descriptive words in the dictionary but the love you feel in God's presence is a love that goes beyond our use words. It's the understanding you have with Him at that moment in time where communication between God and man is pure in spirit. Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
