Happy New Year everyone! The Almighty's New Year started March 9. The Passover season is almost upon us. Will any of you be celebrating it and the Feast of Unleavened Bread that follows as the Apostle Paul admonished us to do (1 Cor 5:7-8)?

Yes, Yeshua fulfilled the sacrificial Passover lamb and has become our Passover. We no longer need to sacrifice a lamb every year. We celebrate the Passover as a memorial of the deliverance of Israel from Egyptian slavery and as a memorial of our own deliverance from slavery to sin.

Now that Messiah our Passover has been sacrificed for us, we should keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. We still have the leaven of sin, false doctrine, hypocrisy, etc., in us. We keep the Feast to show our desire to be leavened free as our Savior was/is.

If you have never celebrated Passover, I highly recommend you do so. It is a blessing to remember our deliverance from sin in this way.

The passover season is nearly upon us?.

Is Christ suppose to be born again and go to the cross a second time or something.

I answered that argument above. Please reread it.

Everyone to there own. You can celebrate passover as a memorial of egupt, and I will give thanks, break bread and drink wine.

It is not a "memorial of Egupt". It is a memorial of Israel's deliverance from Egypt through Yahweh's mighty power.

It is not one or the other (giving thanks for the Exodus or giving thanks via the bread and cup). We partake of the bread and cup on Abib 14, the day of Yeshua's death to remember his death as our Passover Lamb and we celebrate the Exodus and our own deliverance from sin on the following day, Abib 15. If you have no desire to give glory to Yahweh and Yeshua for the deliverance of Israel and your own deliverance from sin through Yeshua fulfilling the type of the Exodus, so be it. As for me and my house, we will give thanks for both.

What New Year are you celebrating?
The Babylonian New Year?

The Babylonian New Year?
Yahweh's New Year. Passover Is on the 14th day of the first month (Ex 12:2,6). The first month on Yahweh's calendar coincides with March/April of our Gregorian calendar. Man starts his new year in the dead of winter (Jan.1). Yahweh starts the New Year in the spring when new life begins to bud.

Thank you.
I just looked all that up and I learned something.
It's appreciated.
