Gen. 10:9 He was a "mighty" hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the "mighty" hunter before the LORD.

Lets take a look at this word "mighty"The word mighty as it is used here is comes from the Hebrew word gibbor (Strong's No. 1368) and means powerful, strong, or mighty, and by implication means a tyrant, or a warrior.....

This word "mighty" (gibbor) is also used to describe the children (giants) that came from fallen angels mating with the adamic woman.....

Gen. 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became "mighty" men which were of old, men of renown........ -parenthetical footnote- Gabriel also means "mighty" but its (mighty man of God)

Is there a connection here????????? Most scholars I have come across seem to agree that Nimrod was a giant and over 10 feet tall...........Is it possible that Nimrod was the son of Cush only through Cush's mother?????And Cush was not actually the father (like Adams not Cains father) ?????

Also it is said that Nimrod actually married his mother (Ishtar)

I've heard this before too. It stands to reason thet anyone who could unite the known world was definitely something special.
I don't infer "tyrant" from those words though, but I have always figured Nimrod was one not to trifle with.

I heard some who were trying to dispute Jesus and the virgin birth once say that Nimrod was born without a human father. That could fall in line with the Sons of God thing.

There is an ancient shard from archaeological digs that depicts Sargon the Scorpion king as a huge being. The men shown around him are much smaller in stature. By the way...the name Sargon is synonymous with king Cain.

Interestingly enough Im sure Nimrod started the ancient babylonian religion,,,,and if he was indeed half angel that would have only made it easier to control the people,,,,,but from what I can tell his mother/wife/godess was Ishtar,,,,,,, and probably aided in getting the people to worship her son/husband/Nimrod......If all this is true,,, its just another sign of how people have fallen victim to traditions of men,,People still celebrate ishtar/easter to this day.........
