Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him? - Isaiah 40:13

If I had to council God on how to build a earth like planet I would have a whole lot to take into consideration...

1. Elements- Create about 100 unique elements placed in correct proportion, considering there are 133,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms on planet Earth.
2. Atmosphere- Made up of at least nitrogen, oxygen, and CO2
3. Crust - consisting of mixtures of air, water, inorganic and organic solids, and microorganisms.
4. Sea - Currently studying the benefits of saltwater for my jacuzzi
5. Life - Create creatures with tens of trillions of cells considering that I would need
A. Stem Cells - A bodies raw materials
B. Red Blood Cells - A means of moving at least O and CO2 through the body.
C. White Blood Cells - As a means of protecting the body.
D. Platelets - So to stop bleeding
E. Neurons - Cells responsible for receiving sensory input from the external world, for sending motor commands to our muscles, and for transforming and relaying the electrical signals at every step in between.
F. Muscle cells- Muscle tissue is composed of cells that have the special ability to shorten or contract in order to produce movement of the body parts.
G. Cartilage - To provide shape to some parts of the body, and acts as cushion between bones in joints.
H. Bone Cells - Osteoblasts are cells, which contribute to deposition of organic components of bone extracellular matrix.
I. Skin Cells - The most common type of skin cell is the keratinocyte, whose primary function is to form a tough, waterproof layer against UV radiation, harmful chemicals, and infectious agents.
J. Endothelial Cells - The endothelium is a thin membrane that lines the inside of the heart and blood vessels. Endothelial cells release substances that control vascular relaxation and contraction as well as enzymes that control blood clotting, immune function and platelet (a colorless substance in the blood) adhesion.

And speaking of Blood vessels I would need tens of thousands of miles of those. Not to mention I would need as many as 200 of other type cells in a living organism I would have no council on how to create something with life, and the ability to sense visually, auditory, kinesthetics, smell, the spiritual, etc. And to store memories of such experience.

So, if I were to council God I would have to use generalities as there are too many specifics required for life.

And yet, all this happens because of a very few physical laws. God, being omnipotent and omniscient, merely set the laws necessary to produce all of this. He is God, after all.

And a good deal wiser and more powerful than most creationists would like Him to be.

Which is why God would logically make every perfect decision. A girl I knew who was not a believer and whose parents were not believers, she died of cancer at age 13. Why? What was the point? Her life was stolen from her so young. She is, in the Christian religion, burning in Hell now and has been burning for the past few years.

That decision was clearly wrong. Even us flawed humans understand the tragedy of that case. So much more would God understand it, if he existed.

No. The Church does not teach that atheists necessarily go to hell.

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves: [15] Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,

Recognizing God's word on this issue...

Finally, those who have not yet received the Gospel are related in various ways to the people of God.(18*) In the first place we must recall the people to whom the testament and the promises were given and from whom Christ was born according to the flesh.(125) On account of their fathers this people remains most dear to God, for God does not repent of the gifts He makes nor of the calls He issues.(126) But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind. Nor is God far distant from those who in shadows and images seek the unknown God, for it is He who gives to all men life and breath and all things,(127) and as Saviour wills that all men be saved.(128) Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience.(19*) Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life. Whatever good or truth is found amongst them is looked upon by the Church as a preparation for the Gospel.(20*) She knows that it is given by Him who enlightens all men so that they may finally have life.

This is why I wish members could choose more than just "Am I a Christian" when setting their profile. I'd like if they could also set specific denominations. Like Catholic. I do think the Bible teaches she is in Hell but even if not, her death was still tragic and pointless. In a tragic and pointless universe, ofc.

T. E. Smith how well did you know this girl ? Friends or at least on speaking terms ?

Yes but I had some doubts.
A girl I knew who was not a believer and whose parents were not believers, she died of cancer at age 13. Why? What was the point?
You could have visited her before she passed and talked with her . You could have offered support for her family even if it just moral support . Even with your doubts you still could have prayed for them and told them you were praying for their family . Did you say any prayers for them ?
Even us flawed humans understand the tragedy of that case.
Even if you thought your faith as Christian was not up to helping in this case , just as a fellow human on this planet you could have offered your support in someway to ease the girl's journey out of this life .

I had a good friend die of cancer he was a Christian . I worked with him in a VFD for many years . I visited his bedside not long before he passed , honestly I did not much want to go see him but I did . The cancer had spread to his brain and he was in and out as I talked with him but at the end of our visit I told him I loved him and was praying for him . He could not verbalize his reply but I did see a tear trickle out his eye as he looked at me . And to think I almost did not visit him .

T. E. Smith it takes courage on our part but if you have a chance to comfort another in their time of need please do it . Could this be on the points being made ?

I did speak to her some, but I did not know her well enough to do it on a very personal way. I abandoned prayer very young, at age 10 or 11, because I realized that it did not work, and because I thought it was a way to pretend to do something without actually doing anything. (I still think this today.) I thought God called me to act, not pray.

That is good you did get to speak with her , kind words can do a lot to bolster someone's spirits .

At that age did you share your thoughts with anyone about yours prayers being ineffectual ? Christian cliche time . " My prayers don't seem to be getting any further that the ceiling . " It can feel that way at times .
I thought God called me to act, not pray.
Amen ! God has called us to act . Another Christian cliche :) , " We need to put legs on our prayers ." And that is true .

How do I feel about prayer ? I don't think it is possible to pray too much !
T. E. Smith thanks for putting up with my questions , I am learning too .

The bible says... Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. - Psalms 32:2

We do not know that girls spiritual state.

It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: - Hebrews 9:27

I would encourage those who still live to prepare themselves as in the hit song ....

Take such generalities to the planet Mars and you could do little more than make sand castles.
