This is one I just wrote for my wife. I invite your criticism!!!!

My Adoration

Laughing eyes piercing deeply mine,
The warm, whispering havens of skin
Surround the fiery blue and gold
And the fiery knowing within.
I am no longer cold.

Awakened hands attentively uncover
Where my faults and failure sink.
And all my heroic passions break free
To climb, explore, unafraid at the brink.
Our adventure, love, our journey.

Years are passing, drifting by
Doubt and fear, malaise pursue
Yet the flower of your youth endures
Be my bride, I’ll be your groom.
We are love’s conquerors.

My song of life, in you I see
In holy symphonies of praise,
A pleasing work of God’s creation
Banishing my doubt, my fear, malaise.
You are my adoration.

That was beautiful. Have you told your wife that yet?

Not yet, I think it still needs some work. Some of the wording is sloppy. 'We are love's conquerors." I don't like that one, but I can't seem to rhyme 'endures'! :x
