[__ Science __ ] P/2019 LD2 (ATLAS): The Latest Proof of the Kuiper Belt?

The existence of the Kuiper belt and the Oort cloud is easy to show. You see, Kepler was able to show how one could find the whole orbit of a body just by observing part of it's path around the Sun.

We see a very large number of comets with the perihelion (farthest point in the orbit from the Sun) where the Kuiper belt was hypothesized to be. And now, of course, we can actually see a large number of Kuiper objects in the belt. How do we know the short-period comets are from a belt? Because they come in close to the plane of the solar system.

Longer term-comets have much greater periods, and since they come in at all angles, they are known to have perihelia in a cloud around the solar system.

Comets are Kuiper or Oort objects that got disturbed in their orbits and fall toward the Sun, forming very elliptical orbits.
