Guys - I am new to Christian forums and wanted to ask around to see if you guys have heard of Pager Prayer? I got an e-mail from these guys last week and it is a fairly cool concept. Their web site is http://www.pagerprayer.com. The company provides you with pagers that are specially designed to be given to individuals in need. Each time you say a prayer for someone in need you send them a page to let them know. It is a pretty cool concept. This company has a price match, so I am assuming they have the lowest price for the pager units. They are selling to churches primarily but it could also work, I guess, for families too.

I am thinking about trying it out in our church, donating it for a year, but wanted to see if you guys have had any thoughts or praises with this type of thing.

I got the same e-mail. I looked through their web site and these guys seem to be on the up and up. They are a Christian based company and look like all they do is Pager Prayer Ministries, which is nice since they understand the whole prayer ministry angle. I'll keep looking around and see what I find and let you know.

Also, it seems like there is A LOT of people with their own Pager Prayers around the country. This seems like a fairly popular idea and it looks like Pager Prayer is the best bet. I wonder if anyone on here is already a client of their's?

By the way, Courtney Wetter an Mary19, seems like just an advertisment for someone to make some money on other peoples desires to share prayers. :-? Who says you should have to pay for sharing prayers? A concordance and a topical index is just fine for looking up specifics. http://www.studylight.org has them and so does http://www.biblegateway.org And gee! They are FREE!


Just wondering.... are you two one and the same person? Or did you both just happened to sign up on the same date and time? I may be wrong about the coincidence, maybe the admins can check the IP adresses to know the answer to that question? but.... Just curious...:roll:
