Hi my name is Erik Lewis ive never done anything like this before i am a christian out of steger illinois i and my wife and daughter rent out a apartment for $700 dollars a month i was working steady until april 7th 2006 when i was laid off. ive been blessed to take cdl training thru my union hall. im cureently working on it now and im so close to getting done but the problem is i was denied my unemployment. we had 2 cars one broke down completely it s now scrap metal. and the other car is about to die because of the transmission. so i drive this out to cdl training everyday. i cant find any type of work ive been looking since being terminated from my job because my rent is almost due. so if any of you all can help me and my wife reachel and my daughter diamond we appreciate this and give the lord jesus christ of nazareth the glory. if the lord places this on your heart thank you and praise jesus if not godbless you anyway im not asking for charity but i am going thru a hard time right now.

again if you all cant help dont worry about it i tried the salvation army they wont help us churches wont help us and i dont no who to turn to so i prayed and asked god what to do and i got this thought. to turn to total strangers whom i dont even know. anyway even if no one gives us a dime i love youall and may god bless you all and when i get back on my feet someday me and my wife will start a donation center for pepole like us who live in this country but need a helping hand. Hi Erik, I'm Jups, I'm from the Philippines and I too am going through rough times. I just read your post and I just want to tell you that I will pray for you and your family. Stay true to your faith and never give up. In these times, I always tell myself that no matter how big our problems are, we have a bigger God. Just be patient and lift up to God all our troubles and everything will be alright, in His time.

and your family. Hard to believe that their are churches out there who won't help. Have you tried your state welfare agency?What about unemployement?These are just a couple of suggestions that I can think of right of the top of my head- I wish you the best - each day will get better.I'll keep you in my thoughts & prayers.

Hi it's me again Erik Lewis first of all i want to just thankyou all for caring enough to pray for me and my family i prayed for each of you all to. i see how loving and caring you all are just by the fact that you all prayed for me is enough im sorry i got on here and asked for financial help i dont get unemployment and i am struggling to get a job. but just the fact that you all sincerely prayed for us shows how god is in people. you know i think that there is a purpoe for everything there might even be a purpose for our struggling.i see much clearer now the world in general how cold pepole are when you dont have anything how the devil enters people and has them step on the people who are already down.I also see the holy spirit in pepole and how he picks those people up and enters people also like you all to bring them the word and good news and to fill there spirit with peace and joy.please you all just continue to pray for me that i can receive hopefully unemployment to live and that the holyspirit continues to walk with me and my family.the lord loves you all and i just thank jesus for coming across people like you never get down in your current situation because the enemy wants to destroy us. I meet somany cold pepole in the world and even in the church that sometimes you almost want to giveup but the lord's spirit has to be in side of you and you have to face your obstacles and push on in the name of jesus. my wife found this site she's the reason why it says rachel she really loves the lord also.again i apologize for asking for help but im not ashamed if i need it it is hard to beleive churces wont help you nowadays but it's true if youre poor and need anytype of assistance see howmany people look down on you and wont help you. but again i stay strong in the lord and i hope you all do too. praise our lord jesus christ of nazareth god bless you all and amen.
