Please lift my wife and unborn child up to the LORD. That she have a smooth pregnancy and that this child will be born healthy, happy & will grow to serve the LORD. My wife learned that she is with child just over a week ago. She was in the hospital yesterday with abdominal pain that she described as feeling like "someone had punched (her) in the belly". They found a slight infection that they have prescribed antibiotics for. As a precaution they did a blood test to see if her hormone levels were where they should be - they were (THANK YOU, FATHER!). They also did an ultrasound to see if the baby is in her uterus. The doctor gave a qualified yes, but we're of the opinion that he qualified his response to limit any possible liability. We're both sure that she's in the right place!

Thanks everyone for your consideration.

Justabitofhelp,

You, your wife, and your unborn child, will be in my prayers. Please let us all know how things turn out...it always brings me great joy to hear about a successful delivery and that a new happy and health baby has entered this world when so many people selfishly abort children.

Yes Indeed Tim, Your family and your concerns will continue to be in my prayers.

Thanks to everyone. May the LORD bless & keep each of you.

UT infections can be very serious during a pregnancy. Each time I went into preterm labor (Your wifes pregnancy sounds like my first pregnancy!), they would immediately test me for a UTI. I too was sick as a dog. They eventually put me on bed rest at 5 months along and after ALL that, she was late!

After the birth of her, I developed problems with ovarian cysts. They are VERY common during and after pregnancy and can be VERY painful. I have to take birth control pills to keep mine from growing. I hate taking the pills, but it's a LOT better than the pain that the cysts could cause.

I'm sure your wife is on her road to recovery! Are you going to find out what ya'll are having?
