This morning I received a phone call from my Son's Mother about our three year old Son Ryan. He has been having problems with his feet for the past few years. Well yesterday she took him to another doctor and they x-rayed his feet and said that both his feet seem to be dislocated and that he needed to see a doctor of nurology a.s.a.p. I don't know much as I was not there at the doctor's, but will learn more in a few days.

Ryan has been telling us that they were bothering him, by starting to walk late and not walking far and holding them like the hurt him. I know something was wrong and we both told this past doctor, but he seemed to think it may pass and said he needed more test when he got older. This doctor told us that something should have been done about this when he first seen the other doctor over a year ago. I am both mad and sad , I am mad at the past doctor for not doing something sooner and sad for our Son. No Parent wants to see something like this happen to their child. Oh GOD, Please be with Ryan!

I am leaving to be with Ryan tomorrow night and we will be leaving for Dupont Hospital in Wilmington, DE. this Thursday morning so they can start to run more detailed test on him.
I ask that everyone please keep Ryan in their Prayers. I believe in the Power of Prayer and know that God will be with us. Thanks, Joe

Praise God, you know what the problem is now. I am sorry that he has had to endure so much pain the last year. Our family will keep Ryan in our prayers.

Update

Update:

We saw the doctor and discussed a number of things, like Ryan having a developmental delay, hypotonia and swollen joints. He said they would investigate possible nutritional causes as well as rheumatologic causes. He said further testing may be needed depending on the results of his intial investigations.
He also orderd more x-rays, which we had done while we were there. the x-rays were of the knee and wrist and he orderd blood work and will be testing for everything he could think of that may cause this to happen. He also wants us to come back and see a children's orthopedic and someone for nutrition.

We go back to see him in four months and mean while we need to get the blood work and see someone for the nutrition part of it and also see the children's orthopedic as well. The people there were very nice and I thank them all.

Me and Ryan's Mother are no longer together and we don't get along for that matter. I will just say please keep me in your prayers as I also have to deal with her and she for the most part does not like me or me being a Christian. I have tried to be as understanding as possible, but it looks like I am going to have to go to court to see my Son or have any say so in his life. I was hoping it would not come to this and hope the court can help me with this problem.

Again, please keep all of us in you prayers.

I will be praying for all the different aspects of this situation. I hope that Ryan's pain is aleviated somewhat now. Thanks so much for the update. I will continue to remember all of you in our familie's prayers.

Hello, I did not think Ryan's Mother (Amy) would be talking to me again for a while, due to me and her not getting along with each other and not seeing eye-to-eye on things about Ryan. The other day I called her from a pay phone outside of town and asked if she would call me at home in an hour (I prayerd about it), I waited but no call. The next morning she called and told me that Ryan's next appt. at the Dupont Hosp. was on 10-05-05 (this Wed.) She also stated that she was going to take Ryan on a hay ride which was yesterday 10-01-05 and I remember we took Ryan there last year and had a good time, so I asked if I could come and she said yes. I prayerd again that God would be with me and that we would get along for Ryan's sake.

Yesterday went well, in fact we did not disagree one one thing Praise The Lord!!
It was so nice that God is answering prayer and I left His name on high for doing so.
I give Him all the Praise and Glory and ask that everyone please keep us in prayer as we go back to Del. on Wed. 10-05-05. I am praying that God will continue to be with me, so that Amy will see that Christ lives in me now and not be looking for the old Joe.
