As our family faces the major decision of whether or not to leave our current place of fellowship we are also dealing with long-term trials.
We are in urgent need of employment as well as housing as we have been transitioning out of 14 months of homelessness for 2 years now (the current economic woes don't help at all) and experienced major setbacks when my husband became deathly ill while ministering amongst the homeless and was hospitalized last year. He finished a training program to make a career change (not easy in your mid-forties) in August but has not found employment yet. His prospects are better than mine as I have been a homemaker for 10 years now training and homeschooling our children.
Our housing assistance ended October 31 and although we know God has a way prepared for us, we really need to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, in one accord and to not make panic-stricken decisions. As I've shared in the advice forum, we have also been dealing with issues at our local church which have been more hurtful than the concerns I've mentioned above...
Thanking the Lord and my brethren in advance for your love and kindness.
