Did you ever read mark 11:23? Let me post it, and we will go over it.
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Start out by asking yourself, are you a "whosoever?" Of course you are! Everyone is - so this is talking about you! It says that if you "say unto this mountain" - - note that it does not say to say to others about the mountian, or to cry about the mountain, or to have a "pity-party" about the mountain - no, it says you speak to the mountain. Now, what I God speaking about here when He says "mountain?" Does he mean a real mountain? Of course not! God is not into moving mountains into the sea! But what He is into, is helping people through their circumstances. So when God says "mountian," it means the huge problems in your life that you cannot see over. God it? Now what does God say to do about these huge problems?
God says that you say unto the mountain, "Mountain, be removed!" Now there are some catches here: His next phrase here, after the sea, is "and shall not doubt in his heart." God is speaking of the true faith of God, or the God kind of faith, that speaks from the human spirit. You have to believe way down deep inside, in your spirit. If you doubt in your spirit, God cannot do anything for you. Now we have this:
1) Speak unto your mountain
2) Don't doubt in your spirit that what you said to the mountian must happen.
What is next? Almost the same as believing in your heart: "but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass..." Notice what God is telling us here. If we believe (in our heart or spirit man) that what we say with our own mouth shall or must come to pass! Do you believe what you say? You said, "but i always get pulled back..." and I am sure that you believed that when you wrote it. No look closely what God says next: "he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Did you get that? God is telling you that when you speak what you believe in your heart, then it shall or must come to pass! Now may I suggest that you listen to yourself, and check up on what you have been saying? Have you been saying things that you want to see in your life? Positive things? Or have you been saying what a mess you are in? God is boldly telling you here, that you will get what you say! In other words, God will make SURE that the words that come out of your mouth will come to pass! This is, if you believe them in your heart. This works either for the negative things or positive things. In other words, your own mouth has been setting up the framework of your life! You have created your own viscious cycle of negative living. If you want to change that, you will have to change the words from your mouth.
Just to make sure you believe this verse, let's see if it has any agreement with other verses.
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Are words something we sow? Absolutely! Whether or not we know it, when we speak, we are sowing our words into the world, and God will make sure that we get a harvest.
Mark 4:14
The sower soweth the word.
Do you see that words are sown? We "plant" them, just as we plant seeds for a harvest. Let's look at one more.
James 3
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
James is telling us that even as the horse is turned by such a small thing as a bit, and the great ship is turned by its little ridder, so our lives are changed, turned or directed by our tongues! Do you see that? So if you read over what you wrote above, you will see that your words are aligned perfectly with what the devil wants in your life. He has put words in your mouth, to guide you to destruction.
To change, you must put God's word in your mouth! Start saying what God says about you: not what you see, not what you feel, and not what you do. What does God say?
You are
the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Ye are of God, little children, and
have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (You are without blame before Him!)
Say, "I am rooted and grounded in Him!"
Colossians 2:7
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Say, "I am complete in Him!"
Colossians 2:10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
As you study the word of God, find verses that say what you want to be and what you want to have happen in your life, and then start saying them. Keep your mouth filled with what God says about you - and cut off saying what the devil says about you! And soon your life will change.
However, Keep in mind, this is what you do all your life! A huge ocean liner may take 5 miles just to get turned around. You have many words on the negative side to overcome, that will come to pass. It will take a while for your life to change. However, God said in Mark 11, that it must change.
