Poem--Because I Know You're Mine

I wrote this a few days ago.

Because I Know You're Mine

I walk life's road without a fear,
because I know You're mine.
I will not live in sin below,
because I know You're mine.
You rescued me from sin and shame,
and now I praise Your precious name.
I sing Your praises with such joy,
because I know You're mine.

You gave Yourself to die for sin
and gave me peace and joy within.
I love You, Lord, with all my heart,
because I know You're mine.
Daily walking with You, Lord,
and trusting in Your holy word,
I will not stray, Lord, from Your love,
because I know You're mine.

And someday You will call me home,
because I know You're mine.
I'll bow and worship at Your feet,
because I know You're mine.
Forever I will praise Your name,
Who took upon You all my blame.
I'll sing forever of Your love,
because I know You're mine.

Normally I would be more concerned with rhyming, but this time I wasn't.
