…and look at me now! Ha! A tired old shepherd,
I’m no one great, my strength and disposition weathered.
Soon I'll die with no name whilst leading the flocks,
In a proud palace of pastures or royal refuge of rocks!
Have I wasted my life here? Will a god up there judge me?
Am I only worth something to the two people who love me?
Bah! Enough! I'm a shepherd and will be all my days.
Now, let's go yonder to see that bush that’s all ablaze...

Inspired by Exodus 3:1-3
