For those of us who find it difficult to praise God spontaneously I have collected verses from the Bible according to the topics and made them into praise and thanks statements that can be read out to worship the Lord.

Here's how one can praise God for His Holy Spirit

I thank you and praise you Jesus because the Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. (Based on Job 33:4)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because your good Spirit leads me on level ground. (Based on Psalm 143:10)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because when you were baptized, heaven was opened, and the Spirit of God descended like a dove on you. (Based on Matthew 3:16)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because you drove out demons by the Spirit of God. (Based on Matthew 12:28)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because you said, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.†(Based on John 3:5)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because you who are the one, whom God has sent, speak the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (Based on John 3:34)

I thank you and praise you Jesus because you said, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (Based on John 4:24)
