This is a couple of days old but I just read that pastor Rick Warren's son Matthew Warren committed suicide on Friday. Matthew was 27 and suffered from horrible depression for many years.

Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow, you and your family will be in my prayers.

Read about this in the paper, and we prayed for this in church today. Praying for God's comfort for the family.

Amen to lifting them up in their great time of sorrow in Jesus' name. That son did know the Lord Jesus from what I've read.

After learning of this a couple of days ago, the family has been in my prayers.

Thank you for bringing this situation to our forum, Jeff, so that additional prayers can be offered up for them.

It is sad to hear about someone committing suicide, and prayers for the family are most definitely needed.
