Thanks for the advice
Brother Mike
I did not give any advice. As believers we are children at start, new things, new concepts. We don't want to stay children though, and time to see what the Father did say about the things we need.
Salvation is not a matter of just having people pray for your family, or going to others. Love works faith (Gal 5:6) I don't want any of your family lost, but the love you have for them, is greater than my love for them or my faith for them if I am not dealing with them personally. I don't even know them.
Also, you have no idea what other folks are going to be praying. Lord if it be your will, save Angel's family is not good enough. When my own son got sick, I turned down all prayer from all the pastors my grandma rounded up to the rescue. I don't need unbelief, I needed my son whole and well.
Salvation:
Salvation is a matter of being blinded to the truth. Who turns down Jesus once they see how Awesome Jesus really is? Who turns down a million dollars? Only saved, religiously blinded believers would turn down a million dollars. The unsaved though, they see something of value, they want it.
The Problem:
2Co_4:4 In whom
the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Mr Devil is the issue here. It's spiritual, and a real force of resistance is being pushed on your loved ones to not see the truth, even if they hear it. This is just as real as a car you see go down the street.
The Good news:
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
(Luk 10:19)
Luk 10:20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
What measure you mete to the Word, is measured back to you. Little measure, little back. This is why these pray for me quick things and hope they are done do not turn out so well. Someone that takes time though, combs the scriptures, has their heart set, is the one that gets results and answers.
If you really care about your loved ones, then your time is worth them making it. God rewards those that seek, and believe He rewards back. (Heb 11:6)
The Word to open eyes:
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto (
Family members here) you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of (
Family members) understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to (
Family Members who will believe and see) who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
(Eph 1:16-20)
So the same power it took to raise Jesus from the dead, is there to open the eyes of family members. That is a whole lot of power.
Now if your really thankful of my advice, so what I tell you to do.
Write down all the names of your family members on a paper, and put that paper up where you can see it everyday.
Tell the devil in Jesus name to get the blinders off, and say, I call every family member on this paper my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I speak the seed into their life, the life giving seed of the Word of God.
Now just pray what Paul prayed, but keep reading it over and over and God will make it alive and real.
Cast this care unto God, say I am no longer concerned about my family members, it's settled, I see in your Word father the prayer that opens eyes and the devil has to stop blinding them.
Now, thank the Lord for his Word, His word always accomplishes the things it was sent to, and when the devil tries to get you to look at flesh acts from family members, you go to that paper and say, devil, your to late, the Word of the Lord is true, I call them brothers and sisters in Christ, and I am not moved by how they act, I have already cast this care unto God, and not a thing you can do about it.
