Today I came across a website that hosted child pornography. I was not searching for porn, it was an accident. And I have reported it. Please pray for justice to be served, and for emotional and physical healing for all the little boys that were involved with this.

I don't think you know how it works. If it were me in the U.S, I would not have reported it and cleaned my drive with overwriting it several times.

In the UK, there is an organisation that specifically works on tracking down the people who host or own websites that promote/show child sexual abuse and non-sexual child abuse. I received an e-mail saying my report has been confirmed and that they are looking into it. I should be sent an update within 24 hours. I didn't click on anything or download anything, so I have not committed any offence. I'm just simply doing the right thing. And, once I came across this website, I asked God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to join me so I could have this website taken down and the people to be tracked down. And it was the strongest I ever felt them. I think it's because I really needed the Trinity at that point, and I had selfless intentions.

As long as your at peace about it, and believe you followed the Holy Spirit then all is good.

A lot of these "Child Porn" sites are run by Government with images of sized material. You bet the website you reported is already being tracked, if not some part of some sting operation. Groups like Watchdog have every known child porn site pegged and tracking IP address and reporting those IP address to authorities in countries that will do something. Every child porn site has some watchdog counter and our FBI are looking for a scale of things. If you continue to visit the site, then expect a knock on the door and a search warrant. If someone just finds the images in your browser cache and You did not report it, then you can have some real problems.

If you followed the Spirit of God though, then your all good. We should always obey what God tells us to do.

I had to visit it a second time to obtain the URL so I could report it. But made sure to get quickly off it. Yes. God asked me to report it. And I'm glad He did, and was more than happy to obey. I think it's sad that the US government feels the need to host child porn websites. I understand the purpose, but it's still morally wrong.

I'm just curious, if you didn't click on anything how did you end up at this site and how did you get back to it to get the URL? Was it something that just popped up like those annoying ad windows when you are looking at an unrelated site? If so, could this be the new thing hackers are doing now? That would be scary!

Without God, the system is corrupt, I believe God would have a much better plan. The thinking is that you catch fish with worms. They don't produce it, they just seize other child porn sites and leave them up, counting all the money transactions, getting IP's and accounts. Then they close it down and make arrest.

A person I know ordered a child porn DVD from one of these set up Government sites. As soon as the delivery guy pulls up and he signs for the package, they stormed in and arrested him.

I went into my history. Yes, it was a pop-up ad. I had forgotten that I disabled adblock.

I had an email link for that garbage sent to me a number of years ago. I reported it too. I didn't click on it just reported it to the police. I never heard anything else about it and reckon it was a sting. Yes I pray that people who do these things are caught and for Gods help and healing for the victims. I personally know two people who were sexually abused as children. They are/were both pretty messed up. Its a thing that the word terrible does not even begin to describe.

Yea, it's foolish to believe you can get on the open INTERNET, just browse to a child porn site and start downloading and buying material without them busting through your door with a search warrant.
A couple I know went to the police station, had their computer seized because they had an open router broadcast. Someone in their apartment had visited one of these sites using their Internet. The site monitored with all IP's coming in and after theirs hit the site over their threshold limit they came and took the computer away.

I am not sure how you combat this. The hard core folks are underground and have private groups with encrypted file transfer's. Your just busting the curious, and dumb, which might be good before they get worse and hurt a child. It's part of the World we live in, and it's all going to get judged.

Yes. It also happened a year ago, but with lesbian pornography. I immediately clicked off it. It scared me. After that I installed adblock plus for more protection.

Yes. I'm starting to think that the website I reported was also just a sting. The organisation I reported to did not get back to me. It's most likely the government.

I personally know two people who were sexually abused as children. They are/were both pretty messed up. Its a thing that the word terrible does not even begin to describe.

It's really sad. I know one woman who had a mother that prostituted her for money and drugs when she was in her teenage years. This woman is damaged forever. She had to run away from home and live with her father. So much negativity in the world. I don't want to say that I can't wait for Jesus to return because I still have life to live, but I really can't wait.

I was once at a public internet place and was looking for info on a car, a pop up for porn came on the screen and filled it, I couldn't get rid of it or close it. Suppose someone with better internet knowledge could have but mine was/is limited and I was stuck. The only person working there at the time was a young girl. No need to tell you how I felt when I had to ask for help to get rid of it. Thankfully she said it happened before, not to worry. Talk about embarrassed!
