Heavenly Father, I lift up Elmer's girlfriend to you right now. You know all about her illness, and how she suffers with it. You are the One Who created her. You are the Great I AM. You are the Self Sufficient One. Nothing goes on without your knowledge. No one's welfare is outside of your power. We put her in your hands and pray that you gently care for her in your own loving way. We praise, you, Father, that her faith in you has never faltered, because we know that without faith it is impossible to please you. Please continue to give her the gift of faith, which we know can only come by your mighty Holy Spirit. Instill in her the power to fight the powers of darkness that may seek to overwhelm her with doubt and despair. And if it be your will, God, heal her with your almighty power - because with you nothing is impossible. Hold her and Elmer in your loving arms; shield them and protect them. And give them strength and power to witness for your salvation and to your glory. We ask this in the mighty name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
