Hello, I am a new member here and I am at my wits end and asking believers to please pray for me. My wife and I are former youth pastors and are no longer in the ministry. The enemy has really come in and attacked my marriage and I am asking for believers to please pray for us and that God remove the walls in our lives that have been put up. We have started marraige counseling but things are on very thin ice. I believe we serve a mighty God and that he can take the walls that have been placed in our lives and that with him doing that and the marriage counseling along side of us taking responsibilty for our actions we will be fine. This is very unusual for me to post on a forum but we need all the prayer that we can get in this is kind of a last ditch effort for God to restore us.

THANKS!!

Please continue to lift us in prayer, over the course of when I posted this I have found out that my wife has been seeing another man. As much as I want to leave her and file for divorce I am holding steady and seeking God's direction. Although I can not accept responsibilty for her actions I will take responsibilty for allowing my marriage to get to this point. I have failed God and my family for not being the head of my household.

I ask that you pray that God speak to me and give me direction
As well as God remove the hinderence from her life and that she repent to God for her sin so that he may restore her and our Marriage.
Pray that God allow her emotions to fall in line with what he would have, and not what this guy wants
Lastely pray that conviction would be on both of our lives that if we do not follow Gods direction, or if we choose not to listen to him that the conviction would be so heavy that there will be not piece until we submit to Gods requests.

I love my wife very dearly and am saddened by this news but still think that God can give a break through. We will be attending another counseling session tomorrow so please lift that in prayer as well.

I will pray for you both today. I know that when your heart is in the right place and you ask for direction, God will be faithful to show you His will and give you the strength to carry it out. I pray that your wife will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to the point that she cannont ignore it, and submits to the Father. It is a hard thing to overcome, but with God's power it can be done. I speak not from personal experience, but I know of Christian couples who have walked down that road and come through it shining. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and try not to let your own hurt cause you to sin.

God bless you,
