Oh it's that time of year again...
I love trying to find the best candy to give away. Chocolate eyeballs, gummi body parts, and etc.

The kids love it...so do I as I'm just as big a kid as they are.
I give the leftover candy to the security desk at church so Richard can give the kids some too(he usually just has tootsie rolls)

I'm not a fan of pumpkin pie or pumpkin flavor anything...just ain't.

But all the rest like mulled cider, baked or candied apples, and dressing up....hey I'm all there. Haunted Houses aren't really my thing but I know that many people like them.

What's your favorite things about Halloween?

Halloween?
Watching the kids go through all the candy.
That's how it was for me as a kid too.

As a kid we enjoyed halloween a lot. fun goofy kids stuff.... . 60 years ago things were a lot different....

when my kids were trick or treat age is when the poison candy thing hit big time so that was out
living 20 years ,80-90, in a part of the state where witches gathered for the winter and summer solstice and halloween it lost more of its childhood appeal ..
holidays are what we make them they are not holy or unholy... they are just days to me anyway

same post at both halloween threads ... :)

How come it's always women that are called witches?
I guess men are just "too cool".

Second favorite thing: Watching my grandkids enjoy Halloween.
First favorite thing: When it's over.

My church does a fall festival every year.
