Here's an idea to raise funds for your congregation by painting Rocks,

Find some flat, smooth rocks. Wash them well, and use paint that will stand out if the rock is dark. Look for scripture verses that have to do with "rocks" or "stones". Then paint the verse on the rock with the scripture reference.

Place the stones in the foyer and explain the "fundraising goals" You might charge between $2 and $5 depending on the size of the rocks.
