You & your lovely wife really do need to put together a book of your photographs. The photos are stunning, and most offer some level of considered emotions (positive) and induce thoughtful perusal.

Brilliant work. Thanks for sharing this & all the other photos!

Mrs. B got tired of being a photo widow, and joined me. She's gotten pretty good, as you can see. Unfortunately the world is filled with competent photographers, who publish books. We just do small books for family and so on.

Then it is the loss for everyone else that you don't publish a book of your photos. The two of you capture moments in time that are stunning.

Your willingness to share them with us here is a blessing to us.

God bless both of you!

Very nice, Mrs. B
It's a strange building, feels odd. The cloud formations fit the feel. I know that probably doesn't make any sense to anyone by me but it's meant as a compliment.
Great shot!

Great shot!

The Great Exhibition, Crystal Palace, London, in 1851, on which it is based, was actually viewed with horror by Queen Victoria! :)

Strange, yes. Memorable, certainly.

(Deborah13: long time no see!)

(Actually, Queen Victoria was enthusiastic about the Crystal Palace, designed by her husband Prince Albert.)

Oh, really? it must have been the exhibited contents that she disliked, then...(unless I'm thinking of something else..)

Blessings.

She was fascinated with the exhibits as well. The only element of the entire design she didn't care for: bird droppings, which were unavoidable because of all the birds brought in & those who came uninvited. She battled some in government who nay-sayed Albert's ideas & design for the Crystal Palace et al; after all, she was crazy in love with Albert and she believed he could do no wrong.

Apologies to you, Barbarian, for this momentary derailment of your thread. Your willingness to share the Barbarian Family Photos is a blessing to us all. Thank you!

Oh maybe I was thinking of Queen Mary's reaction to the 1951 Festival of Britain exhibits, then...

Yes, Barbarian, great photos!
