Does Revelation 22:19 speak directly about JW and others who alter the Word of God to fit their own needs, rather than submit to the requirements of the Lord?

and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

Yes , it speaks to all who add or take away from the Word :) That is as it should be, for the Word alone "sets free". Take away ...........and we stay captive and what Jesus did on the cross, becomes just words on paper with no power. Add, and the same thing happens.
