I really prefer having room-mates. Its awesome always having friends and people at home, helps with the bank-note, and makes life entertaining with the various antics we all do. :-D

One person is boring, but 2 people can put there heads together and come up with something rediculous and absolutely stupid to do that is fun.
It does help with the cash flow. I would also require that the person is a Christian so I wouldn't have any questionable business going on or if so I could call him on it.

I'd rather have a dorm room to myself. I like my room mate, but I like space. And its not like i wouldn't get to see my friends ever. I'm pretty confortable with being on my own.

I'm cool either way. Edog is my roommate and he's pretty cool, but somedays space is a great thing.

I love having a room to myself. I have had a good roomate and two very odd people. But even if the guy is great I'd rather be alone.

I prefer to have a room all by myself. I dun like to share with anyone. But house can. But not room.

If I could have housing off campus that would rock. Unfortunately, my school will not allow students to live off campus unless you are a junior or you will be living your guardians home.

My first year of college I had a roommate... and we got along for the most part--though she was VERY "sheltered" in unimaginable ways (I kid you not!)
The first half of my second year of college I was in Europe and had 2 roommates who were complete opposites and always fighting putting me in the middle. The latter half I was back in the States and had a room to myself... lonely at times, but MUCH nicer than my previous situations.
Overall, I like having my own room. I'm not good at sharing.

i've had 3 roommates so far.
the first one told me i was going to hell for not being a christian and invited me to thanks giving dinner in the same brief conversation. he then proceded to tell me i probably wouldn't be able to eat any of the food and failed to understand the concept that i cook for myself. he was airforce ROTC and i taught him how to do laundry. our sleep scheduals were mirror opposits.
my second roommate was a complete waste of a person. instead of paying rent or the electric bill, he'd spend money on expensive gifts for his girlfriend he frequently cheated on. karma bit him back in the butt and he lost over a thousand dollars on a lemon car with no way to get the money back. HA!:
third roommate "moved out" 3 months ago but still has boxes of crap in my living room. ex-goth dino geek and a dad. he has more great drinking stories from 15 years of fast living than most people will ever collect in a lifetime. it's always nice when you see that your unorganized life is more organized than your friends. it boosts the ego.
now i need a new roommate. anyone wanna move in? :bday:

My roommate and I haven't said three words to each other. We both said 'hey' to each other and that was it. We don't fight ever and we aren't mean to each other, it's just that we each have our own things going on. Not to mention, the both of us got stuck with each other because our planned roommates decided not to live in the dorms, so we're a little bitter about that. I found this out through my CA (same as an RA, only community, not resident). Whatever, I guess. I think he's moving out after this quarter anyway.

my roommate is getting married this December and she's unbearable right now. We told her to prepare in January, did she listen? Of course not. I may have to murder her........
