Not exactly "technical", more of a home improvement thing.

I need to run coaxial cable to my bedroom. My choices are to go through the attic (easy, but a lot of crawling because one of the rooms has a vaulted ceiling), or from the second floor down to the first (would have to drill through the floor inside the wall).

Or, is there a third way which would be easier that I have not yet discovered? I could manage going through walls, but was wondering how this is done without ripping out sections of sheetrock.

I am giving up - there seems no easy way to run the cable. What I need to know now is whether there is a device which will allow me to broadcast a signal. Have the transmitter where the cable comes into the living room, and a receiver in the bedroom.

Wow, did not see this'til now. But you gave up so.....

jk Sorry I couldn't help. My method of running wires is to take the path of least resistance and if somthing is in your way, go around it...or through it! 8-)
