Being born into a wealthy family of governor of Tyre,
They destined you to be the priestess of the pagan gods.
But in the solitude you burned with love for the Creator like a fire,
From lofty dwelling-place beholding nature, traces of Unknown God.

You smashed the idols of your fearsome father,
When holy angel preached to you the Gospel of amazing grace.
By faith you were unyielding to the teary pleadings of your mother
Attempting to convert you back to heathendom’s disgrace.

You suffered tortures from your ruthless father,
But angel of the Lord appeared to you in gloomy jail.
He healed Christina’s wounds, comforting her in name of God the Father.
And saved her from the abyss of the sea for much avail.

God’s angel struck with death bloodthirsty Urban,
And evil Dion took his office in his stead.
By your example spreading faith in Tyre, city prominent and urban,
You’ve enlightened and converted thousands unto Jesus Christ till death.

Condemned by Julian to death in red-hot furnace,
They found you alive and well in it after five days.
Thus Son of God was glorified through you among the pagans

And Holy Trinity rewarded martyrdom of yours for ever and always.
