Jesus told His disciples this Jn 16:7

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

I asked this once before and didn't get an answer.. so let me ask again..

Why would the Father send the Holy Spirit to the Israelites in Jerusalem, on that first Pentecost after the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.. IF THEY ALREADY HAD THE HOLY SPIRIT..?

Isn't this what you believe SBG, that ALL Israelites already had the Holy Spirit.. before the Father sent Him into the world..?

A good question.

Jn 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Jn 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The answer is that the Israelites and / or disciples had not received the Holy Spirit before Pentecost. When the disciples and 120 received the Holy Spirit on Pentecost they spoke in tongues.
