Its a real enemy a real person full of unimaginable hatred. It wanted more than anything to be like God and its managed to instill that same horrid trait into much of human kind.

This outlines Satan's (Lucifer's) conspiracy: 4 times Satan says "I will". Satan wants to be God but never will be. The word "Satan" occurs 55 times in the Authorized King James Bible.
There are more verses about Satan than mentioned here but this is a start.

Satan is exremely subtle as goes about tempting us to sin:

Now the serpent was more subtle than any other wild creature that the LORD God had made. Gen 3:1a RSV

i dont wanna be harsh, bring to much sour or so.
but wasnt the snake/serpent kept high up in the dessert by moses?
and wasnt it also said jesus had to be kept that same way?

Satan is the epitome of vanity that comes by not knowing the Person of God nor therefore comprehending the Godhead. It is not sin to count yourself equal with God since He serves us all more than we know in a pure Love. We are in fact Him even as Christ is when we have the proper Image of Him, for this is what makes up our morality and makes us children of God. To desire to be equal to God in a quest for power over others is to not know this.

The mind of Christ surpasses scripture for the scripture is the letter but Christ is the Spirit.
