Rev 2:11

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

rev 20:6

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

rev 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

That the scripture teaches a second death is no lie, and many deny its truth.

A warning for all of you who do rev 22:

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

The second death is said to be shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And rev 14 states:

9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

To be denying this presently, even with rationalizations and word argument, means your doom is set.

But the Good News is that all for whom Christ died, will not partake of this dreaded event, because, when He died, He suffered the second death in behalf of all those He died for.

Because He did, they do not have to. Because of His unique makeup of both God and Man, being a Man when He died with a infinite Divine Nature, He was able to satisfy the Eternal and infinite demands of God's Justice for the sins that are committed against His Infinite Majesty.. Only Jesus [ God- Man] could do that.

Yes Jesus Christ tasted of the second death for all those God hath given Him, and none of them shall perish , or be subject to its [ secon death] torments which last forever and ever..

Really?...You believe Jesus was thrown into the lake of fire?:nono2

I believe He tasted death for every son heb 2:

9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

I believe He experienced all the death that the word defines, its the greek word:

thanatos and means:

the death of the body

a) that separation (whether natural or violent) of the soul and the body by which the life on earth is ended

b) with the implied idea of future misery in hell

the miserable state of the wicked dead in hell

4) in the widest sense, death comprising all the miseries arising from sin, as well physical death as the loss of a life consecrated to God and blessed in him on earth, to be followed by wretchedness in hell

Jesus did not suffer the second death for us. The second death is the result of standing before God at the Great White Throne judgment, which has yet to take place.

Jesus suffered physical death. He went to the grave, not hell.

No one is in hell yet, for judgment has not taken place for the wicked.

Here you go, are you ready? The Second Death is the death of death.

:yes:yes:yes

Thus saith the Father, The Word, and The Spirit.

Yep! Welcome to Christian forums. :waving

This is the second death !

Rev 20:14

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The second death the bible Teaches is everlasting punishment for sin and it's a endless torment !

Rev 14:11

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

This will be a punishment of both body and soul of men, it will consist of a banishment of all comfort and from Christ the Lamb, and the Gd of all comfort 2 Cor 1:3. From this place of torment shall never be a place of escape, nor reprieve. This punishment is because of sin against God, and because of who God is, the Eternal God, His Greatness 2 Sam 7:22 ! The magnitude of the punishment fits for the Magnitude of the Greatness of the Being we have offended by our Sin !
