I'm watching on TV a concert in Las Vegas starring Shania Twain. It's making me cry. Singing songs that remind me of Matt.

My son's band played a mix of country and blue grass on some of their tours .......... on others, they were hard core heavy metal/rock n roll. They did that to keep each other happy ... half wanted to be a country/blue grass band, the other half wanted heavy rock. Go figure.

those two don't live far from each other, I went to high school with scotty emerick, he was called scott emerick then. jake owen is a bit younger and wasn't born or wasn't that old when we graduated high school.

jake owen comes back to vero yearly. started doing that a few years ago. he propose to his gf at a concert here. I have never seen nor met him.just know where his parents live. work related

REO used to return to Champaign (not all that far from where I live) during their years of popularity. Used to perform at a couple of bars that helped them in their formative years. It was their way of saying 'thanks'.

I think Champaign still has a street in the downtown area designated as an honorary REO street.

I was acquainted with a musician when he was John Cougar. Then he became John Cougar Mellencamp. Then he became John Mellencamp. For a couple of minutes, he considered being just 'Mellencamp.'
