What are your thoughts on evolving species, transitional forms and how the fog over evolution begins to lift as these things are discovered.

Wow pretty smart. but evolution naw.. intelligence in animals does not = evolution, my dog can flush the toilet, open doors with his teeth and he even turns off the alarm clock. does this mean he is gonna evolve into a sentient being
