Smart People includes Dennis Quaid, Ellen Page, Thomas Haden Church, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Quaid is some self-absorbed professor whose wife dife a few years ago. Page is his daughter who runs the house. Church is his questionable brother, staying with them while he's having hard times making a living. Parker is a doctor who becomes Quaid's girlfriend. Pretty good show all in all.
