So are the Jews still the CHOSEN people?

It is written in the New Testament that not just the Jews are of Israel, and that Abraham is the father faith to all who believe. This means that those Jews who reject Christ have forfeited their inheritence.

Pretty much it.

Another way to look at it though, is those Jews who do believe continue as Israel, and in the promises God first gave to Israel. And that not necessarily as leaders put over us Gentiles, but we both inherit those promises to Israel together, and are to become one Body in Christ Jesus, God's eternal concept of Israel.
