facebook, face blown off book for the contacts with the muslims.lol

I don't really use it, but I have a Facebook account.

I just joined Face Book about 2 months ago. "Kids" were glad (and they are grown men :lol) and I got really reflective lately and wanted to maybe connect with people from different aspects of my past life. Most use it, however, not for personal communication at all, but just to post things, usually funny or uplifting. Y'all know me. I post astronomical things, prophecy, and the like with occasional funny things. So even people who once knew me aren't really communicating with "me" but just seeing what I'm up to after all these years.

I belong to one private face book group, which are a bunch of people here in Pa and NJ against this BIG natural gas pipeline that's going thru our properties. This humungous line is slated to run along my south border 300 feet from my house. If it ever blows up, it takes everything (or burns everything) within 900 feet. So this is a great way for us as a group to keep up on current events regarding this proposed project. We are actually becoming a formidable foe to this big $$$ and we're all planning on making them take us to court for eminent domain to bankrupt them.

The people I met are interesting. We got groups together with big lawyers and politicians against this, we planned BIG news-worthy meetings with FERC by this, I even had a Lenape Indian come over to my house who plays a flute to survey my land to oppose the project based on artefactual history and relics here.

So far I'm glad I joined rather than isolating oneself, especially with important matters.

I have a facebook, Twitter, and tumblr account. For work I have a google+, but I rarely look at it.

I actually barely use facebook as more than an instant messenger and tumblr is just where I dump random thoughts and such. I don't use Social media to my advantage.

I have a facebook Google+ and twitter. I, very, seldom use the twitter. 140 words is not enough.

I use Facebook and Twitter mostly. I'm a strong advocate for getting God's people on social media because we're called to go where people are and preach the gospel. These days, people are on social media. =)

No doubt, but that shouldn't stop us, right? Also, I'm not talking about going online and debating, but for the Church to have a presence. I think evangelizing in person is always more effective.
