some things are just happy

Some things just show corruption. When did singing become higher than the law.

But hey dont worry about it, ill just give tickets to who I want.

I could, but I like speaking truth.

Oh, for shame brother! People are higher than the law. People are souls. The most valuable object on the entire planet, created in God's own image and likeness.

She was on her way to sing to God? Maybe God used the situation to give the nice officer a birthday present, get Glady's friend out of a ticket, and get His servants(s) to church...feeling good, all in one fell swoop?

Everybody walked away feeling good! No children were harmed! Even God felt good because His people sang to Him! It was win win win.

Perks of being in Christ Brother. :sohappy

Spiritualy people are higher than the Law yes, but Jesus says give to the ceasor what is his, and Paul says obey your authority. Breaking the Law should only apply if it goes against Christ, and speeding at whatever speed you wish in a motor vehicle does not, its dangerous, thats why its a law to keep people safe, thats not against God, and why cops give tickets.

o good grief .. Kiwidan has gone legalistic .... :cries

Why, for saying people should obey the law and not speed. Tell me that next time to see a car wrapped around a pole or a child hit outside a school by some hoon. At least with law they get dicipline and maybe change there ways rather than no law who cares as you were.

Ever catch fish over the limit?

Ever catch fish over the limit?

What do you mean by limit?

I catch and release, and never go over limit or the fishing regulations, all the fish I release go back to enjoy the ocean, usually I keep a couple for food depending. If I target the bigger species of fish, it goes to feed the community. The limit is more than enough, and the minimum size is to small I dont even bother to keep them for food, even there legal, they go back to fight another day.

And I cannot stand netting. Many times the fish are already dead when the net is pulled and full of undersize and unwanted fish that just get dumped back in the ocean. Just a waste. And they dont go back into the food chain, they float till they rot or wash up shore lines.

It was the officer who decided not to give the lady a ticket.
So, in Acts 12 an Angel broke Peter out of prison...should he go back? :poke

Peter had people praying for Him. Perhaps when they were being pulled over, one or both of them quickly prayed? When do we simply in faith let God do what He will?

Is it wrong to pray for no ticket/jail when one's being pulled over? I have, and credit the Lord for answering my prayer for my son to not go to jail, and we knew he had a warrant. The cop did find the warrant...and (God softened his heart)...he let my son go. All I know is that was a nice cop, and we drove away praising the Lord...so what's wrong with a happy ending?

In most cases I would agree with your sentiment...but we must be cautious to not be so judgmental that we fail to see the Lord's work. If they weren't on the way to church, I might view this differently. As it is, that's too many coincidences for me. Church, birthday, God....for all we know a seed was planted through the testimony of it.

No matter how you slice it, this was a good thing. We needed a good one about a cop soon after that slap the student thing for balance, lol. :idea

The officer is the judge in this case.
He can delve out justice as he sees fit.
