Before you consult Dr. Google, can you think of songs that don't have the name of the song in the song itself?
I'm thinking of this one:

I have another one in mind, but I have to check to make sure (you can use Dr. Google to do that). After this thread starts slowing down after about, oh, 1000 posts or so, then you can cheat and use Dr. Google to find songs that don't have the name of the song in it. :)

Looks like they took one of our forum debates and made a video out of it.

And you're right....Dr. Google says there is no 'pyro' in the lyrics. I would have named it 'watch her roll'.

It does look like they took many of our forum debates and expressed it in video :wink

I was going to post this video a couple days ago in the "what are you listening to", and when I went to find it I forgot what it was called, because the title is not any of the lyrics..........so I guess it was meant to be in Your thread.

And, did you find a Jethro Tull song, cause your name on here is Jethro?

Interesting. I guess it really was meant to be.

Well, kind of.

I'm a big Tull fan and I could have just as easily been Jethro Tull on this forum as Jethro Bodine. I always kick that around when considering a screen name.

I had been listening to the song a lot the last few days and then just thought a thread about song names not being in the song would be interesting....and a way to lure new Tull converts. :lol ....although I know it is an acquired taste. Devious, aren't I?

Baba O'Riley.

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye
It's only teenage wasteland

Sally ,take my hand
Travel south crossland
Put out the fire
Don't look past my shoulder
The exodus is here
The happy ones are near
Let's get together
Before we get much older

Teenage wasteland
It's only teenage wasteland
Teenage wasteland
Oh, oh
Teenage wasteland
They're all wasted!

The Great Gig In The Sky Lyrics - Pink Floyd

The lyrics.

"And I am not frightened of dying any time will do
I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it you've gotta go sometime."
"If you can hear this whispering you are dying."
"I never said I was frightened of dying."

Not really the kind of screaming....I mean, singing...you can do around the office. Well, I mean you could, but........

How do we really know the song title is not in the song?

Tongues are not allowed where there is no interpreter present to interpret. :lol
I shall interpret the second half:

Coffee, soda
Toffee, pasta
Coffee, soda
Give me coffee

Coffee, soda
Toffee, pasta,
Coffee, soa
GIVE ME SOMETHING

Okay, not really, but. Tell me it doesn't totally sound like that:lol

Atom heart mother by pink floyd
Any song by ratatat

I used to listen to a lot of 60s and 70s psychedelic rock. I wished I was born back then. But not anymore.
I was born in 73. I think while it wasn't perfect then, would take that America over the one today in a lot of ways. it was safer for kids then. now we jail parents in some counties for allow their kids to walk alone to the playground.(another topic)I used to roam for miles and my parents didn't care so long as I was home when they said to be home.
